IVERAGH
PANORAMICS
www.iveraghpanoramics.com
is a website created by Barbara Hodges, an artist who lives
and works in Cahersiveen. It is a picture gallery of images
that reflect the cultural, historical, musical, natural and
archeological heritage of the Iveragh Peninsula. The dramatic
coastal and rural scenery along The Ring of Kerry and the Skellig
Ring is breathtaking, spiritual and romantic. It has long inspired
artists, poets, writers, musicians, storytellers and photographers,
it is a haven for mariners and an idyllic place for relaxation
and contemplation. Music festivals, fairs and country markets,
arts an crafts, sporting pursuits, traditional music and dancing
are all subjects of Barbaras photographs. Over the Bank
Holiday Weekend, Barbara likes to open up her studio to visitors
who are interested to see how she creates her panoramic photographic
images of the Iveragh Peninsula.
